National Engine Depot – Shipping Policy
Last Updated: June 25
At National Engine Depot, we are committed to providing reliable, transparent, and efficient shipping services for engines, transmissions, differentials, and drivetrain components throughout the United States and internationally.
Shipping Costs
Shipping rates may vary based on product type, destination, delivery requirements, and current carrier pricing. We currently offer free standard freight shipping on qualifying products delivered within the contiguous 48 United States.
Certain locations, including but not limited to Long Island (NY), Cape Cod (MA), the Florida Keys, remote areas, and locations requiring special carrier services, may incur additional freight charges.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days following payment verification and order confirmation.
Certain products, including special-order items, remanufactured engines, transmissions, custom-built products, and manufacturer-direct shipments, may require additional processing time. Customers will be notified if extended lead times apply.
Shipping Outside the Contiguous United States
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, and international destinations is not included in our standard freight shipping program.
Customers located outside the continental United States should contact us at sales@nationalenginedepot.com to request a custom shipping quotation.
We may also ship to a freight forwarder designated by the customer within the United States. Once delivered to the freight forwarder, the customer assumes responsibility for all subsequent transportation, customs clearance, taxes, duties, core returns, and related costs.
Please note that warranty coverage applies only to products installed and operated within the continental United States unless otherwise stated. Any freight expenses associated with international warranty claims or returns remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
Commercial Delivery Discounts
Discounted freight rates may be available for deliveries made to verified commercial addresses with appropriate receiving facilities.
Customers are encouraged to provide a commercial delivery address whenever possible to reduce shipping costs and facilitate delivery.
Residential Delivery Guidelines
Most engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components are shipped via freight carriers using tractor-trailers.
Delivery access is subject to carrier evaluation. In locations where access is restricted due to narrow roads, steep driveways, gated communities, cul-de-sacs, or other limitations, the carrier may deliver to the nearest accessible location.
Residential delivery availability and procedures are determined by the carrier and may vary by destination.
Freight Delivery Inspection
Customers must inspect all freight shipments upon delivery before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt.
If any visible damage is present:
- Note all damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
- Take photographs of the packaging and damaged product.
- Notify National Engine Depot immediately.
Failure to document visible damage at the time of delivery may limit our ability to assist with freight claims.
Do not dispose of packaging materials until any freight claim has been resolved.
Delivery Changes & Additional Charges
Additional fees may apply for:
- Shipping address changes after order placement
- Liftgate service requests
- Storage fees imposed by carriers
- Re-delivery requests
- Missed delivery appointments
- Special delivery requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping information is accurate before submitting an order.

Customers are encouraged to verify vehicle information, VIN details, and product specifications before completing their purchase.
Lost Shipments & Failed Deliveries
