National Pump Depot

Is There Fine Print? Here’s What You Really Need to Know.

It’s one thing to say we have the industry’s best warranty, it’s another thing to prove it.

Here’s why our warranty is the best:

  • We don’t exclude commercial use (only we do warranty it differently)
  • We don’t exclude DIY’ers or self-installers from warranty coverage
  • We answer the phone when you call – we don’t outsource our warranty to a third party or force our customers to do everything “online.”

For more information about our warranty, be sure to read our official warranty policy.

  • Use conventional oil only for break-in

  • First oil change at 500 miles, second at 2,500–3,000 miles

  • Oil changes every 3,000 miles thereafter

  • Switch to synthetic only after break-in is complete

  • Check oil daily during first 3,000–4,000 miles

  • Oil consumption is normal in early mileage

Transmissions / Transfer Cases / Differentials:

  • These are pre-broken-in

  • No break-in required, but initial inspection and proper installation is essential
